McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links is one of the most unique championship golf courses in South Jersey. Located in Egg Harbor Township, McCullough’s combines both new and old golfing traditions.
McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links was designed by architect Stephen Kay. The design is a links style course that combines both Irish and Scottish features similar to those of St. Andrews. Kay’s design includes wide open fairways, large grass mounds and bunkers, vast natural waste areas, true rolling greens and challenging winds. To add to the links style McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links has a 255-acre elevated layout with 5 water holes, and 100+ foot elevation changes.
The Golf Shop at McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links provides rental clubs, USGA handicap services, club fittings, and a wide selection of golf clothing.
A tee time at McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links is not complete without a meal at The Library III. The Library III serves delicious steak, seafood, and poultry. Since 1985 their steak and salad bar has been voted the best by The Press of Atlantic City.
McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links has been listed by Golf Magazine as one of the top 25 new public golf courses in recent years. They are also one of two municipal golf courses to get an honorable mention in Golf Magazine’s Top 10 You Can Play. With its Scottish and Irish design, it is a course that you don’t want to pass on.
